The ski area in les Contamines is situated between 1200m and 2500m altitude and offers various opportunities for different levels of skier/snowboarder. The resort boasts great sunshine and excellent natural snow conditions. Enjoy panoramic views from Mont-Blanc to the Beaufortain region.
The slopes wind down between glens and dales, wide runs, pine forests chalets and old farm buildings. The village nestles at the foot of Mont-Blanc, the higher slopes offering magnificent views, the lower areas offering tree-lined skiing.
A ski area that spreads accross 2 different regions, Savoie and Haute-savoie
The Contamines-Hauteluce ski area spreads down both sides of the Mont-Joly mountain pass. It offers varied terrain, good for both skiing and snowboarding.
Access the domain via Les Contamines (2 cable-cars) or via Hauteluce-Belleville (1 cable-car), on the border between the Savoie and Haute Savoie regions.
All the slopes are linked together.

5 Fun zone
with a halfpipe (in the centre of the resort) and 2boardercross (ludopark and expert) and a natural slope (non packed) on the ski domain.

The geopraphical position of les Contamines is important. Closely situated to high summits the resort benfits from a cold air stream.
In adition, 200 articial snow making machines ensure optimal snow conditions throughout the season.

The resort is part of the “Evasion Mont Blanc” ski area, 445 kms of slopes accross 6 resorts in the Mont-Blanc region : Saint-Gervais, Megève, Saint Nicolas de Véroce, Combloux & La Giettaz.
On the ski area...
Ski, surf, eat and drink (more than 10 restaurants) on the slopes.
A picnic room and toilets are available at the summit of the Gorge cable-car.
